Salford Cathedral Children’s Choir are looking for young female singers aged 8-18 to take part in a taster day package on Friday 12th and Sunday 14th August.
On Friday 12th August 14:00-17:00, the girls will take part in a rehearsal with some members of the current choir, learning new music and getting to know each other. On Sunday 14th August, the girls will take part in a short rehearsal before getting the opportunity to sing for the 11:00am Assumption Mass in Salford Cathedral. The taster package comes free of charge and no prior choral experience is required.
If your child loves singing, we would love to hear from them! Children who enjoy the two days may have the opportunity to sign up for the Children’s Choir from September, rehearsing on a weekly basis and singing for occasional masses and concerts.
