Last Thursday, our team of 22 Cathedral Runners took part in a collective 125km run at Media City with members of our parish community cheering them on.
Our Cathedral Runners have been raising money for Salford Cathedral’s first ever ‘Song School’ – a dedicated space for music education and rehearsal for our Cathedral Choirs.
We’ve already surpassed our initial £1,500 target, but you can still donate to be a part of the legacy of our new Song School. You can help us kick start the transformation of this space so we can invest in things like reading desks, whiteboards, music folders, shelving and proper storage space. These things will help us maximise the opportunities for the children and young people of Salford to fulfil their musical potential as part of our Cathedral Music Foundation.
