This past Sunday, 1st December, we held our annual Cathedral & St.Joseph’s Christmas Fayre.
Parishioners from across the both parishes came together for this fun-filled family day of festive treats and fellowship.
We were delighted to host the Flixton Community Band, who played throughout the afternoon and of course a visit from the big man himself added to the excitement of the day.
We would like to extend a huge thanks to those who gave their time to volunteer to help staff the day, those who prepared and served our delicious hot food and all those who ran our stalls and raffles.
The event co ordinator, Catherine Astin was very pleased with the turnout and remarked ” We’ve managed to raise more than £1600 for the parish, which shows what we can do when we all come together.”
We look forward to many more of these events as our parish amalgamates and we can come together more often.
